Hello!
Today has been called "The Best Day of My Life!!" by many staff and campers, and rightly so. We started the morning with pancakes for breakfast, followed by instructions to clean cabins and come to chapel. After chapel we played a game of Capture the Flag then went for a morning swim! For lunch we had Pulled Pork Sliders and Sweet Potato Fries. We had a much needed extended rest period, then went to normal afternoon activities (pool, river, arts & crafts, and ropes course). In Arts & Crafts, the campers tie dyed their shirts. We will rinse them out tomorrow after the colors have set in. For dinner, we had tacos and cookies. After dinner the camp was instructed to go put on their swim suits and meet back in the Activities Building for singing and slideshow. After that, we had County Fair! Activities included; face painting, bobbing for apples, tractor ride, tug of war, shave the balloon, arm wrestling, water balloon toss and a few others. The campers ended up either covered in shaving cream, soaking wet, or both. They were also all wearing smiles. We had canteen and finished the night with chapel on the centrum. When asked if they had the best day ever, everyone responded with an enthusiastic "YES!!". Hopefully, we can have an even better day tomorrow. I will post photos on Ultra Camp soon.

Grace, I'm really enjoying your blog and photos. Two of my grandkids are at camp this week. The last two nights more than a third of your photos don't open when I click on the thumbnails. Just thought it might be a problem you need to know about.

I do not know if you have been made aware, but there is an issue with the picture page. Some pics are not showing on the full page and most will not open in the enlargement box. THank you for all that you are doing to keep us in touch!
