Hello friends!
We started our day with breakfast of eggs, bacon and hash browns. Cereal, yogurt, toast and fruit were also available. After breakfast, the campers went back to clean their cabins. Next, we went to chapel and had a full camp photo. Morning activities were split between Triple Dodgeball, Line Soccer and Capers Baseball. After activities, the whole camp came together for teaching. Each cabin found their "lost sheep" that were hidden around camp. They will be caring for this sheep and taking it with them everywhere this week. For lunch, we had pizza which was followed by rest period. Afternoon activities were split between river, pool, arts & crafts and ropes course. They were able to decorate their name tags in A&C today. The campers had some free time between those activities and dinner. For dinner we had chicken strips and mashed potatoes. Then, we sang songs and watched the slideshow of all the photos I have been taking. This evening we played Capture the Flag, had canteen and ended the day with chapel. Right now the cabins are having devotions and getting ready for bed. Lights out is at 9:45. The kids seem to be having a great time and are already becoming friends with their cabin mates. The counselors are enjoying the energy that campers bring to Camp.
