Today's theme word was "Hope". In teaching, the campers had some alone time to think about what made them hopeless and what takes away their hope in the Lord. They wrote this down on a piece of paper and carried it around all day. We played games on the centrum, had lunch, rest period, swimming, crafts, river and ropes course. It's been a great day at camp despite the mud and humidity. This evening, we went to the cross in the Back 40 and buried the papers with hopelessness listed on them. The campers symbolically traded their hopelessness for hope in the Lord. We had chapel there, then moved to canteen. Right now we are all on the Slab watching Toy Story 3. The sky has gone black after a beautiful sunset and the crickets are chirping. It's been a great day at Camp.
Photos will be posted to Ultra Camp momentarily.
Peace!
Grace
