Junior High B - Dean's Letter

Dear Campers,
Well, it’s about time – camp time! That’s right, your Jr. High B camp session begins soon. And we can’t wait to see you.
I will be serving as dean for this session. And we have some other great leaders for the week. The Rev. Bill Allport (St. Helena’s, Boerne) will serve as our chaplain. And Mrs. Bianca Leonard (St. John’s, New Braunfels) will serve as our teacher.
We have planned a fun and exciting week for you. We’ll have all the usual – swimming, arts & crafts, games, worship and activities – as well as some special surprises we hope you’ll enjoy. Our theme for the week is Relationship in Christ. We will explore Scripture and everyday experiences to grow closer in our relationships with Jesus and others.
Registration will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 23. The closing – to which your parents, family, and friends are invited – will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30.
Check the camp website for a list of things to bring. http://www.dwtx.org/index.php/entities/Parent_%26_Camper_Information
Don’t forget your Bible, you will use it this week. And bring a white t-shirt for tie-dye. But if you forget, white t-shirts will be available during registration for $3. There are also a few things to leave at home: I-pods, fireworks, handheld games, DVD players, computers, and cell phones. Please do not bring these items to camp.
I look forward to seeing you at registration.
With God’s Peace,
The Rev. Jay George
